Padres Instructional League Notebook VIII

Peoria, AZ: The San Diego Padres Instructional League squad battled back from four runs down to beat the Seattle Mariners team by a 6-4 score.

Michael Watt struggled in the first inning after getting the first out via strikeout. He allowed a double on a 1-0 pitch followed by an infield single. Another single scored the first run. After a fielder's choice ground out, Emmanuel Quiles was charged with a throwing error trying to throw out a runner to far off the bag at third base.
