Sawyer Carroll

Wade LeBlanc pitches well but the Portland offense doesn't awaken until the ninth. Stephen Faris helps his own cause with two runs scored but gets a no-decision with the offense exploding in the eighth. Jeremy McBryde is battered in his worst start of the year. Sawyer Carroll and James Darnell each collect four hits in an offensive explosion.

Portland (32-32) lost 2-1 to Fresno (Giants) Wade LeBlanc posted zeroes over his first six innings of work before giving up a two-run bomb in the seventh. He worked seven, giving up just the two runs while yielding five hits, not walking a batter and punching out six.
