Latos dominant return; Cooper extends streak

Matt Buschmann suffers the worst start of his professional career sending two position players to the hill in Portland drubbing. Craig Cooper continues to pound out the hits and extended his hitting streak to 17 games. Cory Luebke provides a quality start and Bryan Oland closes the door in impressive fashion. Mat Latos returned to action and was brilliant.

Portland (11-12) lost 16-5 to Reno (Diamondbacks) Matt Buschmann was hammered for eight hits, a walk and six runs before recording his fourth out of the contest. Through two frames, 10 runs had crossed on 10 hits and a walk.
