Freddy's back. After a suffering debilitating injury to his right elbow during 2005 spring training, which disabled him for the entire 2005 season and required "Tommy John" surgery, fleet Beavers switch-hitting Center Fielder Freddy Guzman is back and getting stronger day by day.

"It was a serious injury. They had to redo his ligament in his right elbow. Right now he is throwing the ball pretty good. It's a good sign that his arm has come back strong," said Manager Craig Colbert. "But he still has a lot of work to do." Freddy Guzman saw a breakout year in 2003.
