Padres Prospect Interview: Richie Daigle

The Padres signed Richie Daigle to be a pitcher. It is a relatively new position for the Georgia product and through his first 11 innings with the Arizona Rookie League Padres he has given up seven runs.

How did this whole thing come about with the Padres that they wanted to try you out as a pitcher? Richie Daigle: I was playing for a wooden bat league in Atlanta.
