Both El Paso and San Antonio lose. The Storm get another strong performance from Colin Rea but the bullpen blew up for the TinCaps. Eugene took their worse loss of the year and the AZL Padres may have the "real Donovan Tate."

Prospect Watch:After getting the early lead El Paso gave up two runs in the sixth inning and three in the third to end their four game winning streak...After hitting two home runs last night Cody Decker was 0-4 with three strikeouts...Very quietly Rocky Gale, who has always been knows as a defensive whiz, is having a strong season at the plate hitting .303/.332/.353...Nice to see Jace Peterson have a multi-hit game. He is hitting .211/.308/.281 in his last 24 games.

Northwest Arkansas Naturals 5 - San Antonio 1

Prospect Watch:On Sunday the Missions didn’t get much offense and the pitching was only so-so....It was Needy’s first loss since May 3...Austin Hedges was 0-4 today and is now hitting .234/.275/.343 on the season...In ten of his past eleven outing, Portillo has not given up an earned run.

Prospect Watch:The Storm put up six runs in the fourth inning for their second straight victory...Colin Rea is now tied for the organization lead in wins with 10 along with teammate Zach Eflin and Joe Ross. Rea has a 3.79 ERA on the year with a 98/35 K/BB ratio...Since being promoted to Lake Elsinore Dane Phillips is hitting .303/.374/.537.

Prospect WatchThe TinCaps’ bullpen, which has been fairly good all year, gave up seven earned runs as took Fort Wayne their third straight loss...Trea Turner has to cool off sometime, right? Not yet. A three for five day put him at .431/.496/.642 in 26 games...C Ryan Miller has 24 extra-base hits in 74 games...Closer Nick Mutz has had a tough time since coming back from Lake Elsinore with seven earned runs in 9.1 innings.

Prospect WatchAlready down 8-2 in the fifth inning the Ems allowed the home town Hawks to post nine runs in their worse loss of the season...Not a whole lot of positives out of this one.

Key Statistics:2014 second round pick Michael Gettys is making a strong push to be the everyday centerfielder for the TinCaps in 2015. Gettys is hitting .325/.379/.433 on the year and is starting to show some power. A few pundits have even claimed that the Georgia prep product could be the “real Donovan Tate”. Time will tell.
