Prospect Watch: T-Pads manage only three hits, all singles as they were shutdown by Nashville's starter Chris Narveson (6-8, 4.99 ERA). Since hitting a home run in his first at-bat Maybin has gone hitless in his last four games (0-9).

Prospect Watch: Every time we write that Donn Roach has found his groove he gets blasted in his next start. It is safe to say that a big issue plaguing him early in the season was control. One of the biggest reasons why his ERA has gone from over dropped nearly two runs in the last few months is the fact that he hasn't walked more than one batter in eight starts… After walking eight batters in his first five AA appearances, RHP Leonel Campos has walked only three over his last 10.2 innings. His overall Fort Wayne/San Antonio numbers are a staggering 44 G, 1.58 ERA, 57 IP, 25 H, 33 BB, 86 K.
Prospect Watch: In 42 games Jeremy Baltz has been the only Storm regular to keep his batting average over .300. He has done so by posting an OBP over .380 and a .500 SLG. The twenty-two year old also has a ten game hitting streak and hitting .310 since the All Star Break.

Prospect Watch: Max Fried's last two starts 12 IP, 10 H, 0 ER, 4 BB, 5 K. Last ten starts 3-4, 2.75 ERA, 52 IP, 51 H, 23 BB, 43 K. After giving up a home run in four straight games he has gone back to back starts without allowing one. The top lefty in the system has only allowed seven home runs this season, but has not gone back to back starts without allowing a dinger since early June.

AZL Padres 1 – AZL Giants 2
Prospect Watch: The AZL Padres have five regulars hitting over .300 (CF Rod Boykin, SS Franchy Cordero, 3B Dustin Peterson, 2B Jalen Goree, and RF Franmil Reyes), and yet they are only 18-20 on the season.
