MadFriars' Daily Farm Report: May 3

Burch Smith turned in another impressive start in San Antonio, but the Missions were done in by some ugly defense in extra innings. Tucson and Elsinore didn't even get the good starts, but at least they aren't still stuck in winter like Ft. Wayne and the rest of the Midwest League.

He has now issued 23 over 20 innings of work after yielding 4.1 BB/9 in the Midwest League last year.
