Prospect Watch Big night for Robertson going 4-5. He was in the middle of nearly every rally and has now pushed his batting line to .376/.455/.553...Jaff Decker is playing better than his numbers indicate and is using the whole field much better than in past years. SS Gregorio Petit hit the ball well tonight but if he had gotten out of the box a little better would have had a double and triple instead of double and a single...O'Sullivan was also more impressive than his numbers and scouts noted that his velocity has picked up from last year....Very tough night for Jonathan Galvez at third base with two balls that just ate him up.

Missions 4 - Midland Rockhounds 3
Prospect Watch: The really bad news is that 1B Tommy Medica, who was leading the Texas League in home runs with six, strained an oblique in BP according to the San Antonio Express-News and is out for at least six weeks, which is a big reason why Cody Decker was shipped back to Texas...The Missions scored twice in the top of the ninth and turned the game over to Quackenbush who got got the save in a one run game by striking out the side... The Missions have a great starting staff but their bullpen is pretty special too. After De Paula's exit the bullpen allowed one hit and one walk over four innings on the road.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 8 - Storm 3
Prospect Watch: Rea continues to have trouble with his command and has now walked 19 in 16 innings pitched....If Robert Kral continues to hit they may have to find him an outfielder's glove. He is hitting .356/.431/.733 in 51 plate appearances...CF Travis Jankowski was 0-2 but walked twice pushing his on-base percentage to .388 with 12 steals in 14 attempts...the big problem with the Storm's offense is the middle of the order is just not producing like the "rabbits" - Jankowski, 2B Cory Spangenberg and SS Jace Peterson.
