YMLN - DePaula Among The Usual Suspects

CLEARWATER, FL - The Yankees' A-ball teams were in Clearwater to take on the Phillies on Thursday and once again Charleston cruised to an easy 9-6 victory, and once again they were led by the usual suspects, including Rafael DePaula.

Rafael DePaula was not unhittable during his three-inning stint on Thursday but he was still very, very impressive. He allowed three hits and one run [a solo home run served up], but he didn't walk anybody and he struck out four batters. Working on his delivery, he was deliberately not throwing nearly as hard as he could and sat mostly 91-92 mph and his 79 mph breaking ball was tremendous... Recommended Stories
