Everett Williams hit .389 across four games with the AZL Padres. He went 7-for-18 with two doubles, a triple, one run scored and six RBI. He posted a .421 on-base percentage with a 1-to-7 walk-to-strikeout ratio. He stole two bases in three attempts and did not commit an error in the field. He hit .500 with runners in scoring position and did not ground into a double play.

The San Diego Padres selected Everett Williams out of McCallum High School in Austin, Texas in the second round of the 2009 MLB Draft, 53rd overall.
Williams hit .462 with six home runs, 34 RBI and 27 stolen bases in 2009. The left-handed hitter was named an Aflac All-American in 2008. Williams tallied 36 home runs, 173 RBI and 73 stolen bases over his high school career, hitting over .400 each season.
