Ryan Klesko rallied in the second half (.310 with seven homers and 36 RBI) to finish with a .291, nine-homer, 66-RBI season. That was extremely disappointing. But Klesko was playing with a post-operative right shoulder should that restricted his swing and kept him away from his weight-training program. Padres expect a major gain this season.
Ryan Klesko had surgery on his shoulder, ending his 2003 season. He will move to the outfield in 2004. |
