Forsythe was named a California League All-Star.
Logan Forsythe hit .322 across 66 games with the Lake Elsinore Storm. He went 76-for-236 with 13 doubles, three triples, eight homers, 46 runs scored and 30 RBI. He posted a .472 on-base percentage with a 61-to-48 walk-to-strikeout ratio. He stole six bases in eight attempts and committed 13 errors in the field. He hit .270 in 63 at-bats with runners in scoring position and grounded into nine double plays. Forsythe had a 32-game on-base streak in the California League at the time of his promotion. Forsythe also had a 27-game on-base streak.
Logan Forsythe hit .279 across 66 games with the San Antonio Missions. He went 68-for-244 with nine doubles, three triples, three homers, 37 runs scored and 31 RBI. He posted a .384 on-base percentage with a 41-to-63 walk-to-strikeout ratio. He stole five bases in as many attempts and committed 12 errors in the field. He hit .260 in 73 at-bats with runners in scoring position and grounded into five double plays. Forsythe was second in the entire minor leagues in walks with 102.
2008
Forsythe went 3-for-9 across three games with the Eugene Emeralds before suffering a hand injury.
Forsythe went 6-for-26 across nine games with the AZL Padres. He hit .231 with two runs scored while drawing five walks compared to eight strikeouts.

Logan Forsythe was taken in the supplemental first-round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres. He completed his junior season second on the Razorbacks in batting average at .351 after leading the squad as a sophomore. For the second straight season he led Arkansas in hits (65 in 2008) and drew 46 walks while fanning 26 times. He also added eight doubles and seven homers while stealing 11 bags in 14 attempts. |
