Biography:

Jeff Ibarra went 1-3 with a 3.80 ERA across 26 games with the Eugene Emeralds. In 42.2 innings, he allowed 47 hits, walked 10 and struck out 42. He held the opposition to a .278 average. The opposition stole six bases off him in eight attempts. He allowed three homers, hit 10 batters, tossed one wild pitch, and induced two double play grounders. Of the 15 runners he inherited, seven scored on him. The opposition hit .286 off him with runners in scoring position in 49 at-bats. He led the team with six holds.

Jeff Ibarra was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 23rd-round of the 2009 MLB Draft, 684th overall.

Ibarra worked mainly in relief roles over the past two years. He finished 2009 with a 4-1 record and a 3.44 earned run average in helping the Flames to a third-place finish in the World Series and an overall record of 53-14.
