Chris Fetter was selected by the San Diego Padres in the ninth-round of the 2009 MLB Draft, 264th overall.
Chris Fetter finished third at Michigan in career victories (28), just ahead of Steve Howe (1977-79), and in strikeouts (281), seven behind leader Jim Burton (1969-71). He earned his second consecutive first-team All-Big Ten selection after going 7-3 with 103 strikeouts and 17 walks in 94 innings last season.
