Eduardo Perez went 5-2 with two saves and a 4.52 ERA across 30 games, including one start, with the Fort Wayne TinCaps. In 65.2 innings, he allowed 72 hits, walked 15 and struck out 58. He held the opposition to a .275 average. The opposition stole four bases off him in five attempts. He allowed four homers, hit five batters, did not toss a wild pitch, and induced two double play grounders. He stranded 1-of-1 inherited runners. The opposition hit .296 off him in 71 at-bats with runners in scoring position.
2008
Eduardo Perez went 4-3 with a 3.38 ERA (21 ER/56.0 IP) in 12 games (10 starts) between the Ogden Raptors and Gulf Coast League Dodgers in 2008. He recorded 52 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .240 batting average. Perez, a native of Urribarri, Venezuela, was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent in 2005. Over parts of four seasons in the Dodgers organization, he is 7-9 with a 3.50 ERA (36 ER/92.2 IP) and 84 strikeouts in 32 games (14 starts).
