Biography:
2009

Nathan Culp went 8-9 with a 4.21 ERA across 28 starts with the San Antonio Missions. In 158.1 innings, he allowed 172 hits, walked 29 and struck out 68. He held the opposition to a .277 average. The opposition stole six bases off him in 11 attempts. He allowed 14 homers, hit one batter, tossed one wild pitch, and induced 20 double play grounders. The opposition hit .308 off him in 133 at-bats with runners in scoring position. Culp was second in the Texas League in innings pitched.

2008

Culp went 14-8 with a 3.83 ERA across 27 games, including 26 starts, with the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 157.1 innings he allowed 189 hits, 23 walks and struck out 74. He allowed 10 homers and induced 19 double play grounders while holding the opposition to a .296 average.

2007

Culp went 8-3 with a 3.16 ERA over 14 starts with the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 79.2 innings he allowed 75 his, walked 13 and struck out 54. He allowed two runs or less in nine of his outings and did not allow a hit in the season opener over six innings. He was promoted to Lake Elsinore after his June 29 start.

Culp went 5-4 with a 4.81 ERA over 12 games, including 10 starts, with the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 63.2 innings he allowed 90 hits and walked 11 while striking out 39. He allowed five homers, hit three batters, and did not toss a wild pitch while inducing 12 double play grounders. He saw the opposition steal seven bases off him in 10 attempts.

Culp went 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA over two Storm playoff games. In 13 innings he allowed 11 hits, walked two and struck out seven.

2006

Nathan Cup went 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA over six games, including three starts, for the Eugene Emeralds. In 18 innings he allowed 19 hits, walked four and struck out eight. The opposition hit .271 off him.

Culp was promoted to the Fort Wayne Wizards on July 23, 2006. He went 4-2 with a 4.09 ERA over seven starts for the Wizards. In 33 innings he allowed 36 hits, walked 13 and struck out 16. The opposition hit .281 off him with two homers.
