Bass was named a Midwest League All-Star.

2008

Bass went 2-2 with a 2.10 ERA and seven saves in eight chances across 25 games with the Eugene Emeralds. In 34.1 innings he allowed 25 hits, 14 walks and struck out 41. He allowed three homers while holding the opposition to a .197 average.
