Yefri Carvajal hit .253 across 66 games with the Fort Wayne TinCaps. He went 63-for-249 with 10 doubles, four triples, one homer, 29 runs scored and 29 RBI. He posted a .307 on-base percentage with an 18-to-43 walk-to-strikeout ratio. He stole two bases in four attempts and committed six errors in the field. He hit .253 in 91 at-bats with runners in scoring position and grounded into eight double plays.
Yefri Carvajal hit .262 across 61 games with the Lake Elsinore Storm. He went 60-for-229 with 13 doubles, one triple, four homers, 24 runs scored and 29 RBI. He posted a .295 on-base percentage with a 11-to-35 walk-to-strikeout ratio. He stole six bases in 11 attempts and committed 11 errors in the field. He hit .267 in 60 at-bats with runners in scoring position and grounded into 11 double plays. Carvajal’s 14-game hitting streak was tied for the eighth best mark in the California League.
2008
Carvajal hit .268 with 122 hits in 456 at-bats with the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 121 games he hit a team-leading 27 doubles, one triple, four homers, 54 runs scored and 55 RBIs.. He drew 25 walks compared to 100 strikeouts.
2007
Carvajal hit .340 with 34 hits in 100 at bats over 25 games for the AZL Padres. He had 13 doubles, one homer, 27 runs scored and 22 RBIs. He also drew 10 walks and struck out 22 times while adding five stolen bases in as many attempts. He was promoted to Eugene near the end of July.
Carvajal hit .262 with 32 hits in 122 at bats for the Eugene Emeralds. In 31 games he collected five doubles, a triple, two homers, 15 runs scored and 19 RBIs. He drew five walks compared to 39 strikeouts.
2006
Yefri Carvajal hit .253 with 19 hits in 75 at bats in 19 games for the AZL Padres. He had three doubles, two homers, scored 14 runs and added nine RBI's. He also drew three walks and struck out 16 times while adding two stolen bases.

The Padres signed Yefri Carvajal in the summer of 2005 to a $350K deal. At 17, he will play in the Arizona Rookie League during the 2006 season. |
