Will Venable hit .260 across 53 games with the Portland Beavers. He went 52-for-200 with 10 doubles, three triples, 12 homers, 33 runs scored and 30 RBI. He posted a .329 on-base percentage with a 20-to-46 walk-to-strikeout ratio. He stole one base in as many attempts and committed five errors in the field. He hit .226 in 53 at-bats with runners in scoring position and grounded into three double plays.
2008
Venable hit .292 with 129 hits in 442 at-bats with the Portland Beavers. He collected 26 doubles, four triples, 14 homers, 70 runs scored, and 58 RBIs. He also drew 44 walks compared to 103 strikeouts for a .361 on-base percentage and stole seven bases in 10 attempts.
Venable hit .264 with 29 hits in 110 at-bats with the San Diego Padres. He collected four doubles, two triples, two homers, 16 runs scored, and 10 RBIs across 28 games. He also drew 13 walks compared to 21 strikeouts for a .339 on-base percentage and stole one base in two attempts.
2007
Venable was named to the Texas League postseason All-Star team. He was invited to play in the Arizona Fall League after the year.
Venable hit .387 with one double, two RBIs and three runs scored over seven Missions playoff games.
2006
Will Venable was named to the Midwest League All-Star team in 2006, representing the Fort Wayne Wizards. H went to play in the Hawaiian Winter League and earned a batting crown.
Venable it .314 with 148 hits in 472 at bats for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 124 games he had 34 doubles, five triples, 11 homers, 86 runs scored and 91 RBIs. He also drew 55 walks compared to 81 strikeouts and stole 18 bases in 23 attempts.
2005
In 42 games for the Ems, Venable hit .216, going 30-for-139. He scored 17 runs and knocked in 14 with five doubles, two triples and two homers.
Venable hit .322 with four doubles, two triples and a homer in 15 games with the AZL Padres. He also scored 13 runs and knocked in 12.
