Luis Rodriguez went 4-for-14 with one homer, one run scored and one RBI across four games with the Lake Elsinore Storm in a rehab assignment. He grounded into two double plays, struck out twice and committed one error in the field.

2008

Rodriguez hit .302 with 29 hits in 96 at-bats with the Portland Beavers. He collected five doubles, one triple, one homer, 10 runs scored, and eight RBIs. He also drew 10 walks compared to three strikeouts for a .368 on-base percentage.

Rodriguez hit .287 with 58 hits in 202 at-bats with the San Diego Padres. He collected 11 doubles, one triple, 22 runs scored, and 12 RBIs across 64 games. He also drew 13 walks compared to 13 strikeouts for a .326 on-base percentage and stole one base in two attempts.

2007

Rodriguez played in 68 games for the Twins this year, hitting .219 (34-for-155) with five doubles, a triple, two home runs, 12 RBI, 18 runs scored and 12 walks. The switch-hitting infielder made appearances at third base (38), second base (21) and first base (3), making a combined 37 starts in the field for Minnesota. Rodriguez also played in six games for Triple-A Rochester, all at shortstop, going 8-for-19 (.421) with a double, RBI, three runs scored and four walks.
