Lopez hit .232 with 88 hits in 380 at bats for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 117 games he collected 16 doubles, two triples, two homers, 39 runs scored and 39 RBIs. He drew 43 walks compared to 59 strikeouts and led the team with eight sacrifice flies and seven sacrifice bunts.

2006

Jesus Lopez was hitting .212 with five doubles, three home runs and 13 RBI in 47 games for the Fort Wayne Wizards before being sent down to Eugene on July 7, 2006.

Lopez was brought back up to Fort Wayne on August 28, 2006.

Lopez hit .246 with 33 hits in 134 at bats over 40 games for the Emeralds. He added eight doubles, two triples, and 18 runs scored while drawing 15 walks and striking out 27 times.
