Kazmar went 101-for-382 across 111 games with the San Antonio Missions. He hit .264 with 21 doubles, three triples, three homers, 39 RBIs and 53 runs scored. Kazmar also drew 36 walks compared to 66 strikeouts and stole seven bases in 11 attempts. He was leading the Texas League in fielding percentage among shortstops at the time of his promotion to the big leagues.
2007
Kazmar hit .208 with 56 hits in 269 at bats for the San Antonio Missions. In 78 games he collected 10 doubles, two triples, six homers, 30 runs scored and 33 RBIs. He drew 24 walks compared to 46 strikeouts and added six stolen bases in seven attempts.
Kazmar hit .284 with 57 hits in 201 at bats for the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 47 games he had 20 doubles, three homers, 27 runs scored and 24 RBIs. He drew 16 walks compared to 27 strikeouts.
Kazmar hit .314 with four doubles, two homers, seven RBIs and a team-leading 11 runs scored over 12 Storm playoff games.
2006
Sean Kazmar hit .250 with 135 hits in 540 at bats for the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 133 games he collected 19 doubles, five triples, 13 homers, 72 RBI's and 86 runs scored. He also drew 63 walks while whiffing 80 times. Kazmar was 10-for-11 in stolen base attempts.
Kazmar will play in the Hawaian Baseball League this fall.
2005
Kazmar hit .267 with 26 doubles, ten homers and 48 RBI's in 125 games for Fort Wayne. He drew 44 walks while striking out 69 times and scored 47 runs. He committed 17 errors at second base.
2004
Kazmar played in 65 games for Eugene before being moved up to the Fort Wayne club. He batted .253 with six homers and 27 RBI's. He batted .333 at home and just .170 on the road. He had a 14 game hitting streak early in the year and hit safely in 16 of his first 17 games.
He played in five games for the Wizards late in the year and batted .217.
Notes:
Selected in the fifth round of 2004 by the Padres after batting .330 with three home runs and 21 RBIs for Community College of Southern Nevada. Played in all 56 games this spring and led the team with 61 hits, 42 runs, 14 doubles and 84 total bases. Stole 43 bases in 56 attempts during his two years with the Coyotes.
