Naylor hit .169 with 11 hits in 65 at bats for the AZL Padres. In 23 games he had one double, three RBIs and 13 runs scored. Naylot drew 18 walks and struck out 18 times. He threw out 10-of-58 runners attempting to steal.

2006

Clint Naylor hit .167 with seven hits in 42 at bats over 20 games for the AZL Padres. He scored 11 runs, drove in three and had 23 walks while striking out ten times for a .462 on base percentage. He threw out 11-of-40 runners attempting to steal.

The Padres signed Clinton Naylor, cousin to Drew Naylor, a right-hander in the Phillies organization, in February of 2005.

The talented lefty hitting catcher has been scouted heavily by the Padres for some time – with local Padres scout Greg Morris and the Padres head scout Trevor Schumm following him closely through last years MLBAAP Academy and this years U18 National Titles in Geelong.
