Anna hit .224 with 24 hits in 107 at-bats with the Eugene Emeralds. He collected two doubles, four homers, 21 runs scored, and 15 RBIs across 30 games. He also drew 20 walks compared to 23 strikeouts for a .366 on-base percentage and stole 10 bases in 11 attempts.
Anna went 11-for-44 across 13 games with the AZL Padres. He hit .250 with a double, homer, nine runs scored and nine RBIs. He drew one walk compared to eight strikeouts while stealing bag.
Notes:
The San Diego Padres selected Dean Anna in the 26th-round of the 2008 MLB Draft.
The shortstop hit .319 for the Cardinals in 2008 with 11 home runs and 41 RBI out of the leadoff spot. Anna added 17 doubles and seven triples for a total of 35 extra-base hits.
