Henn went 0-0 with a 14.21 ERA across nine games with the Portland Beavers. In 6.1 innings he allowed 10 hits, 10 walks and struck out three. He allowed one homer and induced one double play grounder while holding the opposition to a .385 average.
Notes:
Henn was claimed off waivers from the New York Yankees on May 9. The 27-year-old left-handed pitcher went 1-0 with a 0.84 ERA (1 ER/10.2 IP) in eight relief appearances this season between Single-A Tampa and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Originally selected by the Yankees in the 26th round of the 2000 First-Year Player Draft, Henn has made 36 Major League appearances with New York (five starts) over parts of three seasons (2005-07), posting a 2-6 record with a 7.53 ERA (48 ER/57.1 IP). In 116 career minor league games (81 starts), he is 26-23 with a 3.53 ERA (190 ER/484.0 IP). |
