Hynes went 0-2 with a 4.60 ERA across 32 games with the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 45 innings he allowed 60 hits, walked 11, and struck out 38. Hynes held the opposition to a .324 average.
2007
Hynes went 3-2 with four saves and a 1.54 ERA over 30 games with the Eugene Emeralds. In 41 innings he allowed 31 hits, walked six and struck out 50 while hitting five batters.

Colt Hynes was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 31st-round of the 2007 MLB Draft.
Hynes was a mainstay in the weekend rotation at Texas Tech and logged a 5.94 ERA through 83.1 innings of work while making 13 starts and recording a 3-6 record. He allowed 113 hits, walked 16 and struck out 55. Forty of those hits went for extra bases. |
