| 2007:
Woodard went 3-2 with two saves and a 3.89 ERA over 23 games for the Eugene Emeralds. In 34.2 innings he allowed 33 hits, walked 11 and struck out 40.
Woodard went 0-1 with a 15.00 ERA in two spot appearances for the Portland Beavers. In three innings he allowed four hits and two walks while striking out three.

The San Diego Padres selected Robert Woodard in the 20th-round of the 2007 MLB Draft out of North Carolina.
He went 11-2 with a 3.30 ERA (42 ER/114.2 IP) in 19 games (18 starts) in 2007, helping to lead the Tar Heels to their second straight College World Series finals appearance. He compiled 84 strikeouts compared to 28 walks. Woodard became the winningest pitcher in UNC history this season and finished his career with a 34-5 record. A native of Charlotte, NC, he also garnered second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in 2007. |
