Myrow hit .170 with nine hits in 53 at-bats with the Portland Beavers. He collected one double, one triple, two homers, six runs scored, and six RBIs. He also drew six walks compared to 15 strikeouts for a .254 on-base percentage.
2007
Myrow hit .354 with 123 hits in 347 at bats for the Portland Beavers. In 107 games he collected 31 doubles, four triples, 13 homers, 61 runs scored and 73 RBIs. He also drew 56 walks compared to 74 strikeouts and posted an on base percentage of .440.
He was called up to the Padres on September 1.

Brian Myrow began his career in the Independent Leagues before his contract was purchased by the New York Yankees in 2001. He spent last year in the Boston Red Sox organization and the first baseman hit .270 over 20 games for Double-A Portland of the Eastern League. He had been playing in the Korean Professional Baseball League prior to signing with the Sox. Myrow would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 6, 2005, hitting .200 over 19 at bats. |
