Jonathan Galvez, formerly known as Spraud, hit .272 across 54 games with the DSL Padres. In 162 at-bats, he had 44 hits, including five doubles, a triple and three homers. He scored 31 runs, had 31 RBIs and drew 47 walks compared to 40 strikeouts. He also stole eight bases in as many attempts.

Jonathan Spraud was signed by the Padres on July 2 International Signing Day in 2007. He took part in the Padres' Instructional League in the fall. |
