2006

After a spot start in Portland, Dirk Hayhurst was sent down to Double-A Mobile before being moved back to Triple-A Portland on August 23, 2006. Hayhurst went 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA in four starts for the Beavers. In 20 innings he allowed 29 hits, walked nine and struck out 12.

Hayhurst went 3-5 with a 4.82 ERA over 12 games, including ten starts, for the Mobile Baybears. In 52.1 innings he allowed 58 hits, walked 18 and struck out 49. The opposition hit .280 off him and he surrendered six homers.

He began the year in Lake Elsinore where he went 2-7 with a 3.97 ERA over 12 games, including 11 starts. In 59 innings he allowed 61 hits, walked 20 and struck out 51.

2005

Hayhurst went 5-5 with a 5.38 ERA in 38 appearances for the Lake Elsinore Storm, with seven starts. In 93.2 innings he allowed 106 hits, walked 27 and struck out 69.

Hayhurst went 1-0 with a 2.57 ERA in one start for the Mobile BayBears.
