Faris made a spot start for Triple-A Portland, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out four over four innings for a 2.25 ERA.
Faris went 7-7 with a 4.37 ERA over 21 games, including 18 starts, with the Fort Wayne Wizards. He tossed one complete game shutout. In 103 innings he allowed 104 hits, walked 35 and struck out 58, allowing seben homers.
Faris went 2-0 with a 4.09 ERA over two starts with the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 11 innings he allowed seven hits and walked two while striking out seven. He hit two batters, and tossed two wild pitches while inducing one double play grounder. He saw the opposition steal one base off him in 2 attempts.
Faris went 1-1 with a 2.41 ERA over three Storm playoff games. In 18.2 innings he allowed 15 hits, walked two and struck out 13.
2006:
Faris went 2-1 with a 4.65 ERA over 11 games, including seven starts, for the Eugene Emeralds. In 40.2 innings he allowed 49 hits, walked ten and struck out 23. The opposition hit .295 off him.
