Ociesa went 0-0 with a 6.75 ERA over five games for the AZL Padres. In 5.1 innings he allowed three hits, walked five and struck out six.

Ociesa went 0-2 with a 12.15 ERA over seven games with the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 6.2 innings he allowed nine hits, walked 10 and struck out five, hitting two batters and tossing three wild pitches.
