Conlon hit .324 with 22 hits in 68 at bats for the Eugene Emeralds. In 21 games he had six doubles, a triple, two homers, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He drew four walks compared to 13 strikeouts and stole three bases in four attempts.
Conlon hit .255 with 12 hits in 47 at bats for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 16 games he had one double, a homer, six runs scored and six RBIs. He drew eight walks compared to 10 strikeouts before being placed on the DL for the rest of the year.

Conlon was a three-year starter for TCU and hit .399 with a career-high nine home runs as a senior. For his career, Conlon played in 147 games and made 134 starts.
