Buschini hit .243 with 27 hits in 111 at bats over 32 games for the AZL Padres. He collected nine doubles, a triple, two homers and 17 RBIs. He also drew 13 walks while striking out 26 times.
Buschini hit .159 with seven hits in 44 at bats for the Eugene Emeralds. In 12 games he had one double, a homer, two runs scored and three RBIs. He drew three walks compared to 15 strikeouts and stole two bases in as many attempts.

Buschini capped off his four-year career at USD by being named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Buschini finished the season with a .348 batting average, had 79 hits, 20 doubles, a team-leading 13 home runs and 58 RBI. Buschini had a .442 on base percentage as well as a .626 slugging percentage. |
