Felix Carrasco hit .273 with 47 hits in 172 at bats over 46 games for the AZL Padres. He notched 12 doubles, one triple, four homers and 37 RBI's while scoring 32 runs. He also drew 17 walks and struck out 48 times. Carrasco stole two bases on the season. He hit .208 over the final 17 games of the season. He also committed 23 errors while playing third base.

Felix Carrasco, a 19-year old third baseman was signed for $150K in March of 2006. At 6-foot-1, 220-pounds, the Padres are intrigued by his power potential. He began the 2006 season playing in the Arizona Rookie League.
