Hussey went 0-5 with a 7.50 ERA over six starts with the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 24 innings he allowed 25 hits, walked 20 and struck out 10. He was demoted to Eugene when short-season began in the middle of June.
Hussey went 4-5 with a 6.66 ERA over 22 games, including seven starts, with the Eugene Emeralds. In 52.2 innings he allowed 59 hits, walked 44 and struck out 56 while uncorking a team-high 14 wild pitched, hitting 10 batters and yielding five homers.
2006
John Hussey went 3-1 with a 2.44 ERA over 13 appearances with the AZL Padres, including seven starts. In 44.1 innings he allowed 39 hits, walked 16 and struck out 32. The opposition hit .253 off him and .152 with RISP. He placed fifth in the Arizona Rookie League in ERA.
2005
Hussey was signed by the Padres out of Australia. He went 1-3 with a 6.44 ERA in nine starts striking out 31 and walking 13 for the AZL Padres. |
