Steve Buschini was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 11th round of the 2007 MLB Draft, 357th overall.
Buschini capped off his four-year career at USD by being named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Buschini finished the season with a .348 batting average, had 79 hits, 20 doubles, a team-leading 13 home runs and 58 RBI. Buschini had a .442 on base percentage as well as a .626 slugging percentage. |
