Zawadzki hit .433 with 13 hits in 30 at bats for the AZL Padres. In 10 games he had three doubles, a homer, five RBIs and eight runs scored while drawing three walks and fanning eight times.

Zawadzki hit .267 with 27 hits in 101 at bats for the Eugene Emeralds. In 25 games he had four doubles, a triple, two homers, 13 runs scored and 14 RBIs. He drew 10 walks compared to 24 strikeouts.
