Dunn went 1-1 with a 2.14 ERA over 14 games for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 21 innings he allowed 14 hits, walked seven and struck out 13. The opposition hit .179 off him. He was moved up to High-A in mid-May.

The southpaw went 2-4 with a 2.10 ERA over 20 games, including six starts, for the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 51.1 innings he allowed 58 hits and nine walks while striking out 36.

He was suspended indefinitely after his July 25 outing for conduct detrimental to the team.

2006:

Dunn went 5-6 with a 2.41 ERA over 19 games, including 12 starts, for the Eugene Emeralds. In 78.1 innings he allowed 68 hits, walked 19 and struck out 45. He tossed four wild pitches and the opposition hit .232 off him.
