Rivera hit .225 with 64 hits in 284 at bats for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 91 games he had 14 doubles, five homers, 26 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He drew 43 walks compared to 43 strikeouts.

Rivera went 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA over two relief appearances for the Wizards. In three innings he allowed three hits.

2006

Rivera was with the AZL Padres, hitting .409 with one double and seven runs batted in over 11 games.

Rivera spent 19 games with the Lake Elsinore Storm from April 15-May 29, hitting .200 with 11 hits in 55 at bats. He scored ten runs, drove in two, had five walks and whiffed eight times.

Rivera saw action in 31 games for the Fort Wayne Wizards from June 13-16 and July 9-August 17, hitting .217 with 23 hits in 106 at bats. He scored 11 runs, had eight RBI's drew six walks and whiffed 22 times.

Rivera played in four games for the Mobile BayBears, going 2-for-8 with a double, a run scored and four K's from August 19-25.

Rivera ended the year with the Eugene Emeralds. He hit .361 with 13 hits in 36 at bats over ten games for the Ems, scoring eight runs and posting a .452 OBP.

2005

In 24 games, Rivera hit .241 with 20 hits in 82 at bats for the Eugene Emeralds. He scored 10 runs and knocked in six.

2004

Rivera batted .276 in 48 games for Peoria. He had five doubles, two triples and 19 RBI's. He also walked 17 times. He went 1-for-8 during a three game stint with Eugene to end the year.
