Hunt hit .260 with 96 hits in 369 at bats for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 101 games he had 17 doubles, a triple, a team leading 13 homers, 47 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He drew 33 walks compared to 85 strikeouts.

2006

Jeremy Hunt hit .323 with 53 hits in 164 at bats over 45 games for the AZL Padres. He had eight doubles, three triples, five homers, 32 runs scored and 32 RBI's while drawing 28 walks and striking out 37 times. Hunt hit .444 in July before batting .194 in August. Hunt ended the year fourth in slugging percentage (.500).

Hunt went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the Arizona Rookie League Championship game.

He was called up to the Eugene Emeralds on September 1, 2006. He went 3-for-17 over six games with the Ems.
