Madden went 1-4 with a 5.74 ERA over 43 games with the Lake Elsinore Storm. In 42.1 innings he allowed 56 hits and walked 21 while striking out 44. He allowed two homers, hit three batters, and tossed four wild pitches while inducing two double play grounders. He saw the opposition steal 8 bases off him in 11 attempts.
2006
John Madden went 2-3 with a 2.12 ERA and 20 saves in 49 appearances for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 51 innings he allowed 39 hits, walked 19 and struck out 48. The opposition hit .202 off him.
2005
Madden went 2-5 with a 3.48 ERA in 38 appearances for the Eugene Emeralds. In 41.1 innings he allowed 49 hits and 17 walks while striking out 55.
