Notes:
Chad Huffman was selected by the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2006 MLB Draft, 53rd overall.
The right-handed hitter was a Third-Team All-American for the Horned Frogs in 2006 while leading the club with a .388 average and .742 slugging percentage. As would be expected of a Grady Fuson/Chief Gayton pick, he drew 38 walks against 31 strikeouts on the season. While he played first in college, the Padres will move him to the outfield. |
