Brian Lauderdale went 5-for-12 in three games with the AZL Padres, collecting two RBI's and two runs scored before being promoted to the Eugene Emeralds on July 10, 2006.

Lauderdale hit .237 with 22 hits in 93 at bats for the Ems. He had four doubles, one homer and 12 runs scored, drawing two walks while whiffing 31 times.

Lauderdale was signed as an undrafted free agent. He is the brother of fellow prospect Matt, a catcher in the system.

Lauderdale had a .363 career batting average, scored 266 runs, 324 hits, 171 RBIs, 52 doubles, and 20 homeruns for North Georgia. Lauderdale also stole 100-of-113 bases setting a school record. On defense, he maintained a .963 fielding percentage by tallying 491 assists, 464 putouts, and turning 102 double plays (also a record).
