Pascual Juan went 2-1 with a 7.78 ERA over 14 appearances, including one start, with the AZL Padres. In 19.2 innings he allowed 21 hits, walked 18 and struck out 21. He also had eight wild pitches and the opposition hit .276 off him, .333 with RISP.
Notes:
Signed as a non-drafted free agent on December 28, 2004. Juan went 3-3 with a 2.97 ERA in 13 games, including five starts, for the DSL Padres in 2005. In 39.1 innings he allowed 43 hits, walked 20 and struck out 28. |
