Campbell hit .407 with 11 hits in 27 at bats for the AZL Padres. He added one homer, six RBI's and six runs scored while drawing five walks and striking out two times. He also added one stolen base.
Campbell was sent up to the Fort Wayne Wizards on July 23 and hit .280 with 14 hits in 50 at bats in 12 games for the Wizards. He added four doubles, seven runs scored and three RBI's, striking out nine times and not drawing a walk.
Campbell was shipped to the Eugene Emeralds on August 7, 2006. He hit .253 with 25 hits in 99 at bats over 28 games for the Eugene Emeralds. He added five homers, four doubles and 19 RBIs, striking out ten times while drawing ten walks.
