Meaux went 2-0 with a 3.18 ERA in 15 games for the Mobile BayBears. In 17 innings he allowed 16 hits, walked two and struck out 12.
Meaux was acquired by the Padres on July 31, 2005 in a trade with the Chicago White Sox. The Padres sent Geoff Blum in exchange for Meaux.
