Brandon Higelin was named to the Midwest League All-Star team in 2006, representing the Fort Wayne Wizards.
Higelin went 3-4 with a 2.28 ERA over 53 appearances for the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 67 innings he allowed 60 hits, walked 21 and struck out 62. The opposition hit .241 off him with four homers.
2005
He went 0-2 with a 5.00 ERA in 22 appearances for Eugene. In 27 innings, he gave up 40 hits and 11 walks while striking out 21.
Higelin was taken in the 28th round of the 2005 draft by the San Diego Padres out of Cal State Los Angeles. |
