Sean Thompson went 6-10 with a 3.86 ERA over 27 starts for the Mobile BayBears. In 154 innings he allowed 148 hits, walked 46 and he placed fourth in the Southern League in strikeouts with 134 - the tops in the Padres' system. The opposition hit .255 off him with 18 homers, 14 of those solo shots.

2005

Thompson went 4-1 with a 2.16 ERA in six appearances for the Lake Elsinore Storm, all as a starter. In 33.1 innings he allowed 26 hits, walked 13 and struck out 45.

Thompson went 4-5 with a 4.67 ERA in 20 games for the Mobile BayBears, all as a starter. In 113.2 innings he allowed 127 hits, walked 55 and struck out 94.

2004

Thompson was consistent all year long for Fort Wayne. He went 9-6 with a 3.10 ERA and had an ERA over 4.00 just once on the year. He allowed six runs over his final five starts and allowed two runs or less in 13 of his final 15 starts.

2003 Struck out 69 in 56.1 innings of work with Idaho Falls. Made 13 appearances, 11 of which were starts. Taken in the fifth round of the 2002 draft.
